/></p><p>黄檗山隐元禅师,是明末清初一代高僧。顺治十一(1654)年,受日本长崎僧众四度礼请,隐元禅师率众弟子东渡弘法,于京都开山&ldquo;黄檗山万福寺&rdquo;,创建黄檗宗。东渡之前,隐元禅师曾两次住持黄檗达14年,黄檗丛林中兴鼎盛。隐元禅师东渡之后,江户幕府确立了黄檗住持从福建隐元法嗣召请制度,持续近130年,使福建黄檗名振东南。巍巍黄檗僧团,绵绵法脉相延,黄檗法嗣遍及八闽乃至湖湘粤皖。乾隆年间,在闽中罗源的畬家山寨,就有一处&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;道场。</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>罗源畬乡&middot;西兰古刹</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>罗源兴祥寺坐北朝南,原名兴王院、兴王寺,建于唐大顺二年(891年),至今1131年,由禅僧智韬创建,位于罗源县西兰乡崇山峻岭之中。兴祥寺周边竹木苍翠,环境悠然,是罗源现存唐代十二古寺之一,也是西兰唯一唐代古寺。明万历三十七年(1609),乡人聚募重建。寺院仅存清代山门一座,门前台阶垂带石上,有清嘉庆十四年(1809),&ldquo;当山住持比丘秋潭重砌造&rdquo;的石刻。</p><p /></p><p>兴祥寺后山的巨石上,尚留&ldquo;逍遥台&rdquo;题刻,落款为&ldquo;灵武王用文,时元至正二十六丙午春&rdquo;。字为楷体,结构严谨,苍劲凝练,稳健持重。元至正丙午春(1366年),闽省左司郎中葛仲温,理问官王用文携友人同游兴祥寺,并在寺后石崖刻下&ldquo;逍遥台&rdquo;三个大字,边款是&ldquo;灵武王用文书&rdquo;。兴祥寺住持在大字左侧刻石记其事:&ldquo;至正丙午春,彭城葛仲温、灵武王用文、三山林元卿、东莱太史玄同游,释桂庭中岩刻石&rdquo;。摩崖石刻上的葛仲翁和王用文,是元代有名的忠臣,他们于元至正乙巳冬(1365年)来罗源任守御事。明嘉靖《罗川志》记载有《葛王二公惠政碑》,记录了葛、王两人在罗源的政绩,赞扬两人&ldquo;皆诗书有文,律身以廉,待物以恕,刚柔相济,为善相先,有善则必相推让,是以大和&rdquo;。</p><p /></p><p>元代统治者治闽严苛,留下的文化遗存少之又少。这块摩崖,让我们看到了来自江苏、宁夏、山东等地的汉人循吏来此为官,实属难得。他们留下如此大体量的&ldquo;逍遥台&rdquo;摩崖石刻,绵绵延续六百余载,让我们从中看到了先贤&ldquo;逍遥&rdquo;处世的一种质朴心愿和期待。同时,我们也从摩崖石刻看到,罗源佛教在元代不仅没有消失,而且还有州府高官来参游,寺院住持的法名也永远留在了石刻里。</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&ldquo;竹苞松茂&rdquo;&middot;&ldquo;长发其祥&rdquo;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>在兴祥寺后山,有一座祖师塔。塔铭横书&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;,&ldquo;乾隆丁未年季冬吉旦&rdquo;,是由&ldquo;当山住持通镜&rdquo;为&ldquo;师祖智长瑞公和尚、师岐山月公禅人&rdquo;造,&ldquo;徒子弘辉同&rdquo;造。&rdquo;&ldquo;坐壬向丙&rdquo;标明了墓塔的方位,古人用天干来指代方位,具体对应关系是:甲乙&mdash;&mdash;东方,丙丁&mdash;&mdash;南方,戊己&mdash;&mdash;中方,庚辛&mdash;&mdash;西方,壬癸&mdash;&mdash;北方。所以,&ldquo;坐壬向丙&rdquo;就是&ldquo;坐北朝南&rdquo;的意思。墓联&ldquo;二十四山山拱照,四十八帐帐朝迎&rdquo;,则讲明这是&ldquo;龙脉&rdquo;美穴地。墓园的石栏板内侧,雕有&ldquo;长发其祥&rdquo;&ldquo;见龙在池&rdquo;,外侧雕有&ldquo;山明水秀&rdquo;和&ldquo;竹苞松茂&rdquo;,讲的也是风水上好之意。&ldquo;竹苞松茂&rdquo;,寓意松竹长得茂盛,比喻根基牢固,繁荣兴旺。出于《诗经&middot;小雅&middot;斯干》:&ldquo;如竹苞矣,如松茂矣。&rdquo;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;&middot;&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>早在宋代,就已经有了&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;之说,是宋代高僧、临济宗杨岐派传人圆悟克勤提出的。圆悟克勤曾住持多座寺院,先后受宋徽宗和宋高宗敕赐,圆悟克勤有两个大弟子&mdash;&mdash;大慧宗杲和虎丘绍隆,临济宗就是在圆悟克勤和弟子们的努力下开始有了新发展。</p><p /></p><p>到了元代,赵孟頫奉勅撰写了《临济正传虎丘隆禅师碑》。黄檗书院文献室有此碑全拓,通读全文可知,此碑是纪念宋代虎丘隆禅师与其师圆悟克勤禅师的故事。师徒二人在虎丘云岩禅寺,将临济宗推向极盛。在元代,临济宗成为汉传佛教里最有势力的一派,&ldquo;由是临济之道愈扩而大&rdquo;。圆悟克勤提出的&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;,不仅成为宗门流行语,而且被后人作为&ldquo;正统&rdquo;&ldquo;正宗&rdquo;之代名词,对后世影响巨大。</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>从黄檗住持的塔铭碑文来看,崇祯十四年立的费隐通容禅师塔,题名&ldquo;临济正传第三十一世费隐容和尚寿塔&rdquo;。黄檗山清代三十三代和四十二代住持,也使用了&ldquo;临济正传&rdquo;。&ldquo;隐元纪念堂&rdquo;内的隐元禅师齿发塔,题刻的是&ldquo;临济正宗第三十二世重兴黄檗隐元大和尚&rdquo;。隐元禅师东渡之后接棒黄檗住持的慧门如沛禅师、第六代住持虚白愿禅师,塔铭题刻也是&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;。而且不论留在祖山的,还是东渡扶桑的黄檗禅师墨迹,无不在作品右上角钤盖椭圆形或竖方形&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;之印,成为墨宝上的重要元素。隐元禅师的师父费隐通容禅师墨迹,右上角钤印则是满白文方印,印文是&ldquo;临济正宗三十一世&rdquo;,落款多钤满白文&ldquo;费隐容&rdquo;和阳刻&ldquo;径山老人&rdquo;两枚方章。</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>清代黄檗山第三十一代、第四十代,墓塔题刻变成了&ldquo;传临济正宗&rdquo;。而乾隆九年立碑的第十八代实圣濬微和尚只署&ldquo;黄檗当山&rdquo;,嘉庆十二年立碑的第三十九世承垠和尚,题刻为&ldquo;继席檗山&rdquo;,均没有&ldquo;临济正传&rdquo;或&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;。而罗源兴祥寺乾隆五十二年的祖师塔,塔铭干脆就直接题刻为&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;。</p><p /></p><p>是什么原因,使黄檗的当山住持们不再使用&ldquo;临济正传&rdquo;或&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;?我觉得,这不仅是一个&ldquo;说法&rdquo;的变化,更重要的是,从顺治十一年开始,长达120多年的&ldquo;唐僧召请&rdquo;制度,一次次在隐元禅师闽籍法嗣里寻找,寻找那些能够渡日传法的高僧,使得&ldquo;黄檗&rdquo;之名响彻八闽,就是在东南大区域内,也有了一定知名度。在这种情况下,从黄檗道场走出的黄檗禅师们,无不以&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;为自豪。因此,就有了从&ldquo;临济正宗&rdquo;到&ldquo;黄檗正宗&rdquo;的转变。</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>图文来源:</p><p>福建省黄檗禅文化研究院副院长
