leaf="">改革开放之前，塑胶与铝制品尚未在乡间流行，农家的日常生活几乎离不开木制品。挑水用的是木桶，洗脚用的是木盆，储粮用的是硕大的“木筐”——桶状，有盖，沉重，俗称“楻”。这些木制器具的外围，都用竹篾编成的圈紧紧束住，不用胶水，也不靠铁钉，全凭篾箍的力量与匠人的手艺，让一块块木板紧密相拥，滴水不漏。</span></p><p style="text-indent: leaf="">箍桶，书面语称圆木技艺，是通过箍捆合桶板，确保木桶接缝严密的传统手工技艺，工匠称箍桶匠。箍桶技艺源于何时，暂无明确记载，但可推测至迟在新石器时代（约7000年前），随着各类工具的创新应用，木制容器的制作和使用逐步成为人类日常生活的一部分。如今，箍桶技艺（圆木作）与木雕、竹编等，已经成为江南地区重要的一项非物质文化遗产。</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;"><span leaf="">箍桶匠的行当，看似简单，实则是个技术与体力并重的活计。刨、斧、凿、铣，箍桶匠样样皆通。他既要懂木工，又要会“破篾”。木桶板裂了，他能修补；篾箍松了，他能重编。</span></p><p 0px;box-sizing: border-box;"><span leaf=""> 箍桶匠最忙的季节，要算夏天到来之前。因为那时乡间并无自来水、冲澡卫生间，夏日容易发汗，要用澡桶洗澡，所以家家户户都要把闲置在家多时的澡桶拿出来修理一番，实在不能用的要新打一个，遇到木板烂掉的要换上新的，漏得厉害的要把箍紧一紧。</span></p><p style="text-indent: 2em;white-space: normal;margin: 0px;padding: 0px;box-sizing: border-box;"><span leaf="">至今记得，有一年家中的水桶漏得厉害，于是老父亲循着箍桶匠的吆喝声，把他请到了家里。师傅先是仔细端详水桶的裂痕，用手指轻轻敲了敲桶壁。然后，把水桶上的旧篾箍退下，并从工具担里取出一把锋利的篾刀，迅速地削了几根竹钉，把松动的桶板用竹钉重新紧固。接着，在青竹条上熟练地破篾，但见篾刀在竹片上翻飞，柔如柳条的竹片在阳光下闪着柔和的光泽。最后，将新编的竹篾箍在木桶外围，用木槌轻轻敲打，让每一圈篾都恰到好处地紧紧贴合桶壁。</span></p><p 然而，随着时代的变迁，塑料、铝制品、不锈钢器具逐渐走进了千家万户。轻便、便宜、不易损坏、容易修复的新材料，让传统的木制器具渐渐退出了历史舞台。曾经走村串户的箍桶匠，也慢慢失去了用武之地。许多箍桶匠的后人，即使对这门手艺有着难以割舍的情感，也不愿再子承父业。于是，那些沉甸甸的箍桶担，连同那悠长的吆喝声，渐渐消失在人们的视野中。</span></p><section
