东张镇名的由来

text-indent: 32px; text-wrap-mode: wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">唐武德六年(623年),东张分属长乐县、莆田县。唐圣历二年(699年)分属福清县、莆田县。宋太平兴国五年(980年)分属福清县长乐西乡新宁里、长乐东乡清源里、永福乡永寿里、文秀乡苏田里。宋嘉祐四年(1059年)分属清县长东乡新宁里、清源里和永福乡永寿里、万安乡苏田里。明嘉靖十一年(1532年)分属福清县南上隅永寿里、新宁里和北二隅清源里、西隅苏田里。清宣统二年(1910年)建东张镇。民国十六年(1927年)属福清县第五区。1958年改为东张公社。1984年9月26日改为东张乡。1984年12月25日改为东张镇，直至今日。</p><p class="no-text-indent" style="margin-top: 0px; text-indent: 32px; text-wrap-mode: wrap; background-color: rgb(255, 255, 255);">“东张”的由来，据传起源于宋代。那时，东张街两侧居民的姓氏分布颇具特色，东侧主要居住张姓人家，西侧以董姓为主，因此这一地带被人们合称“董张”,随着时间的推移，名称逐渐简化为“东张”,沿用至今。</p><p style="margin-top: 0px;
