文房字面意思即古人的书房，读书写字赏艺之地。现在泛指古今雅玩器物。中国的文人好文擅艺，然其审美情趣，当以宋代为勃发的源头。史实证明，彼时的“士大夫”公务之暇，多寄情于琴、棋、书、画等，其场所即为之文房。</p><p style="white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;"> 古代文人书房中赏玩和摆放器物当中，最为实用的是笔墨纸砚，称之“文房四宝”。在很多人的概念中，说到文房就是四宝，那是以偏概全。屠隆《考槃余事》中记载了具有代表性的四十五种文房器玩。笔格、砚山、笔床、笔屏、笔筒、笔船、笔洗、笔觇、水中丞、水注、砚匣、墨匣、印章、书匣、印色池、糊斗、蜡斗、镇纸、钟、磬、数珠、钵、番经、镜等。其实文具之数又何止这些，文人所有的爱好与制作都可以归为文房。</p><p style="white-space: normal;box-sizing: border-box;"> 此次展览展出了120件套明清时期的文房精品，为我们研究与鉴赏文房器物提供了丰富的实物资料。文人用器就如同文人的情感一样具有多元性、开拓性。它们材质多样、工艺繁复、形式多变。从中可以玩味古代文人多彩丰富的审美情趣，乃至文心与匠艺结合所产生的匪夷所思的艺品妙构。</p></section></section></section><section style="text-align:
